چکیده

The paper studies stochastic dynamics of a two-degree-of-freedom system, where primary linear system is connected to nonlinear energy sink with cubic stiffness nonlinearity and viscous damping. While the mass subjected zero-mean Gaussian white noise excitation, main objective this study maximise efficiency targeted transfer in system. A surrogate optimisation algorithm proposed for purpose adopted framework. optimisations are conducted separately coefficient alone as well both damping coefficients together. Three different cost functions, based on either system’s components or dissipated energy, considered. results demonstrate some clear trends values show effect functions optimal coefficients.

A Numerical Method for Solving Stochastic Volterra-Fredholm Integral Equation

In this paper, we propose a numerical method based on the generalized hat functions (GHFs) and improved hat functions (IHFs) to find numerical solutions for stochastic Volterra-Fredholm integral equation. To do so, all known and unknown functions are expanded in terms of basic functions and replaced in the original equation. The operational matrices of both basic functions are calculated and em...

Optimal Energy Management and Feasibility Study of a Hybrid Energy System for a Remote Area

This paper investigates impacts of possible chances in energy policy and consumption behavior on optimal energy management and feasibility study of a hybrid energy system. The study was performed on a remote area near Esfarjan, a village located in Shahreza, Iran. In the main scenario, the current energy policy is applied while the consumption behavior of customers is studied by means of an inc...

A stochastic reorganizational bath model for electronic energy transfer.

Environmentally induced fluctuations of the optical gap play a crucial role in electronic energy transfer dynamics. One of the simplest approaches to incorporate such fluctuations in energy transfer dynamics is the well known Haken-Strobl-Reineker (HSR) model, in which the energy-gap fluctuation is approximated as white noise. Recently, several groups have employed molecular dynamics simulation...

Numerical solution of the 'classical' Boussinesq system

We consider the ‘classical’ Boussinesq system of water wave theory, which belongs to the class of Boussinesq systems modelling two-way propagation of long waves of small amplitude on the surface of water in a horizontal channel. (We also consider its completely symmetric analog). We discretize the initial-boundary-value problem for these systems, corresponding to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary ...

Stochastic quantization of interacting classical particles system

Starting from a many-body classical system governed by a trace-form entropy we derive, in the stochastic quantization picture, a family of non linear and non-Hermitian Schrödinger equations describing, in the mean filed approximation, a quantum system of interacting particles. The time evolution of the main physical ob-servables is analyzed by means of the Ehrenfest equations showing that, in g...
